Encouraginng each other to be assertive is something that is very important to me! Relying on others can be very frustrating. People using their own initiative can often achieve far more. Self belief is important! We llive in a town where this already happens so much . It will be natural for us as to do this more and more..

The Monday Interview - Anita - Ale Wife of Ulverston's Micro Brewery
So where are you?
The site of Ulverston's old cattle market.
And what makes a good beer?
Anita Garnett and Paul Swan (son of the strict and imposing Glaxo 'boss' for Pen Extraction ) have set up their brewery - The Ulverston Brewing Company - on the site of the Old Cattle Market across from the bus station and Peter's Kiosk.

A company that has never made a beer that tastes the same as the other, and a brewery that struggles to sell its beer anywhere in Ulverston.
Run by a couple of Megalomaniacs who really need to realise that their beer is bloody rubbish and not many people in Ulverston like it.
Keep selling your muck to tourists as no one else wants to know.
I would have thought that complete consistency of taste was extremely difficult on a small scale.
As for your assertions that people don't like it, how come they still buy it?
I had a couple of bottles at ford park, great value and to my taste I have only been drinking ale for 40 years who am I to know.
I should train maybe as a larger lout and get some traki bottoms.
Oh the things I am missing Phfft.
Why should beer taste different ? Are you one who puts cordial in it ?
Blackcurrant in the black stuff? lime in larger?
Best stick to your Red Bull#h#t
As a Chemical Engineer familiar with the fermentation process at Glaxo, I would expect tanks the size of those used at Ulverston Brewery to produce slightly different products because of the variation in the circulation of growing organisms and hence slight differences in growth rate resulting in small changes in flavour.
Furthermore impeller agitation which ensures efficient mixing is not used.
The main thing is does the beer out of the bottle and barrels taste good ?
Sounds like you're one of the negative group who go Knowhere.
Can't you find something in life to be positive about?
