Money - can it ever be this important !

Thank you Peter Macdiarmid - photographer!

There are some people whose lives seem to be depend on it.

To most of us, people, and particularly, people that can be relied on, are far more important.

That's why I feel more comfortable with the kind of people that live in East Ward rather than those that live in the likes of Kilner Park - working class people rather than 'the haves'.

What do they have other than possessions?

Things are going to get tough and we will depend on each other (and not on what we own) more.

Next Saturday, 18th October, 11:00 till 2:00 will be my time to talk with you on the market square - weather permitting!

Geoff - Generating money and money management are key to any political office - except for Bush and Brown of course who are completely responsible for the current banking crisis.

why does everyone think that people down here are skint?canal foot must be home to the most expensive houses in ulverston!as a working class person who has never been on benefits,i would class myself as well off,my mortgage is nearly paid and have no money worries.south ulverston has allways been slagged off,but we are virtualy crimefree and seconds from the countryside.i would never move. i could easily afford a house up croftlands, but who wants to look out on concrete? i will stick with my view of a field full of sheep!
