The new site for Ulverston - http://www.visitulverston.com

This web site continues to grow in stature.

It's the best site we have that is geared to telling the outside world what is to be seen in Ulverston.

Well worth a good look around!

Mmmm. A work in progress indeed. Out of 10? - 4. Sadly yet another Ulverston site with an identity crisis - "south lakes", "Lake District" and the depressingly ubiquitous "cumbria."

If you've decided there is cash in selling tourists history/heritage then is there not a case for selling them the real deal? Still, it was good to read bardsea (I think) is in the Lonsdale Hundred of the County of Lancaster.

More of the same old boring negative comments from the last century.

A useful phrase even if it's only 12 years ago !

SNAP!! O and cobbles are not from the last century, or the one before?!! s'funny how for some folk geographical/historic dislocation represent "progress". A little more thought and research needed I think.
