So what have I been up to?

This gives you a clue.

Don't they look good!

Looking forward to displaying many of the other new flags that have already been made during the last six weeks at a press 'photo opportunity' and telling the story so far behind their designs.

We invite you to a quick preview at the above location in The Gill at 2pm this next Wednesday Feb 23rd.

Here's what others get up to with bamboo poles and flags.

Can we do something at all similar here?

How good are the Gymnasts at Victoria High ?

We could certainly jump over a flag - more needs a little practice!

We've got the drummers.

How about a Flag Jumping Drumming Festival ?

Let's set our sights a little higher !

The cost of gasoline is continuously fluctuating. Most occasions, its sky high!

Listed here are some tips for you to conserve gasoline.

1. Tune up your car always. Inadequate operating condition eats up more gas.

2. Plan your route forward of time. This avoids taking pointless driving.

3. Use your aircon sparingly. You can turn the aircon on to get a few minutes then flip it off
and let the fan circulate the cool air within the automobile. Don't open the windows when you aircon is on.

4. Maintain the windows closed when travelling at high speed for less air friction.
Open windows drag the pace and lower gasoline mileage.

5. Don't idle your engine for long periods of time.

6. Do not travel at quick speeds in low gears unless of course you need the compression to sluggish down.

7. Attempt driving on allowed speed restrict.

8. Don't rev the engine when not essential.

9. Once the price for gas is higher, do not fill up. Wait till it goes down.
You do not want to give an impression to oil businesses that you are prepared to buy gas at any cost.

10. Finally, buy vehicles which have great gasoline mileage.

11. Do not forget to cover your car.

Goodluck!

What a brilliant lot of advice.

I wasn't sure what "aircon" was, then twigged.

The biggest temptation is being dragged in to driving faster than I need to -

When you stop and think of most trips, you're not in that much of a rush anyway.

I'm always amused at the thought of people rushing home from work - for what - to flop in front of tele!
