A time to be silent

If its something I've learnt from older wise people        (and I have known one or two):

It's their ability to be silent when it counts

Now is my time to learn to be wise.

The significance of this post may be lost on most people, but I have always been a person who speaks out on issues, only to get authoritarian people's back's up and a negative result. Now it's the turn of others to achieve where I never did. All I have to do is sit back and watch. It feels really good!

It must be good if being silent gives you a 'feel good' state of mind.
Hope you will soon be feeling stronger.

Thanks Gladys.

Yes at the moment I am focussing on taking a back seat and only giving opinions directly to people when asked for or when there is a clear opportunity to say something.

I see this blog as different as here people come and read it, expecting me to have something to say.

With my difficulty in sleeping, I am shedding most souces of stress : without becoming a recluse!

Getting well again after my stroke must be my top priority.

You have achieved a lot more than you realise.
"Gird your loins" and comeback afresh.
