Scandal

I suspect there's a bit of Ulverston in this book. . . . . .

For those that enjoy fiction.

"Smoothly, expertly written, the author captures the essence and conflict of human love and religion as they struggle to coexist in a judgmental world."

Try The Tinner's Rabbit !

Does anyone believe in "Good and Evil"

I certainly don't!

One person's good is another's evil.

There's both in all of us.

Another way of saying it is that we are all . . . . . human!

Evil is the suff that fiction and Agatha Christie are made of.

One person's terrorist is another's freedom fighter.

What a shock to visit here and be faced with that eye! If anyone should go to The Tinners Rabbit for When Angels Lie it will be in my pen name Richard L Gray and with a different cover to the one given at the end of the video. They do have copies upstairs.

As to your provocative remark as regards good and evil. Since you say that there is both in all of us, how can you then say you don't believe in it?
Defining what is good and what is evil is another matter. Even so, I'm sure there are certain aspects that most people would agree on.
Unfortunately, certain religions (the most influential?) offer a certainty of what is and is not evil. Unless we have an open mind and seek after truth (rather than proclaim WE alone know and have it) we merely breed intolerance.
Yes, we are all complex human beings. And each life can be a journey of self discovery. Accepting what in our hearts we know to be good (kindness, generosity of spirit etc), and rejecting what hurts and harms others (selfishness, greed etc) we come to realise the fulness of 'good' and the poverty of 'evil'. Actions are rarely black or white, and good and evil clearly distinguished to perfection. We should all be careful of 'branding' through ignorance.
A BIG subject - too big for here!

An imaginative and compelling video trailer. Well done that Gladys Hobson and thanks Geoff Dellow for posting it on your blog.
