Butterflies galore

I've never seen so many Red Admirals together than those now at Ford Park Orchard today - about twenty within a few yards.

Someone tell me why?

Brilliant site for butterflies
(where this photo came from).

We get quite a few butterflies in our garden. Has it anything to do with having had a mild winter?

Yep that's what we planted all these new flowers and shrubs for to attract butterflies, we have engaged an expert landscape architect who seems to know what he's doing. and yes they are amazingly beautiful
