Witch hunts again

Once again sniping media and misguided politicians are undermining our government.

I will be dismayed and saddened if Baroness Scotland resigns.

This story echoes what is found all across our British society : the wish to snipe and tear others to shreds over extremely trivial issues.

Can we have some positive reporting please?

Knocking down is easier than building up. I'm sorry about what has happened to Baroness Scotland. All over a slip-up.
Political blood lust? I'm sure far more sinister things go on that are covered up. And is anyone squeaky-clean?
Let him who is perfect cast the first stone.

My thoughts exactly.

We need all the competent people we can find.

She seems more that competent at her job, I would call her a super star.

Bloody press at it again.

The ease with which good people are asked to resign worries me greatly.

Surely we desperately need good people governing us.

Everyone I've heard and read agrees that this woman is great at her job.

Why as a matter of oldfashion principle do we want to risk a replacement who will be mediocre?

The media lust for blood doesn't help us stay well governed. Let's treasure those that are excellent.
