Encouraginng each other to be assertive is something that is very important to me!
Relying on others can be very frustrating. People using their own initiative can often achieve far more. Self belief is important!
We llive in a town where this already happens so much . It will be natural for us as to do this more and more..
Primary School Parents coming together at Mill Dam Park
I'm focussing much of my energy on the event in Mill Dam Park, we've been to all the schools in Ulverston and many of the parents are coming with their children - see you there:-

The sheltered housing had a view of activities over mill dam park. I am sure it was a distraction for most of them. Oh what stories they could tell? O A P
Yes we use their input whenevere we can. Some have my phone number so that they have someone to call should they want to. On receiving a call I can be down at the park in about 30 secs for a 'quiet chat' with anyone in the park that attracts a sheltered housing resident's attention. How so quick? - Bicycle waiting for a rider at the front door - and the first bit is seriously downhill. The fastest man in the West, Zoro at his best!
