A business making a go of it

It's good to see this old mill building being adapted so successfully.

A really tastefully and attractive venue with and adventurous approach to exploring many possibilities for this fascinating building - one a group of us tried to buy when it was on the market for £11,000 in about 1976 as part of "The Town Mill Project".

We raised enough to purchase it but would have had nothing left to convert it into the community centre that we were proposing!

Weren't you moaning about their bins the other month?

What you - moaning again!

When are you going to accept that people and organisations can't be seen in black and white.

Everyone has a good side and everyone a bad.

Why can't people accept each other as human.

Just because I don't approve of The Mill's waste bins doesn't mean I can't think highly of there appeal to the public to come and try them out.

I try to treate everyone and every issue I meet as having both positive and negative sides.

However some people are always looking for a chance to tear someone else to shreds.

Go get a life of your own and enjoy yourself!

4.50 for a glass of wine!

It has been a more successful pub over the last 10 years than it is now so why bring it up now? I will give it another year, no way any business can afford that little custom and so many overheads when it is as quiet as it is.

It appears to be bucking the trend for pubs to be closing around town.

It's good to see a determined try to make a business work.
