I agree- but it's not a man but a woman.

Her name is Marie Fallon and she is paid £125,000.

Her Highway Department has rightly set itself standards that are government requirements and they are breaking these left , right and centre.

They need to be put in the stocks and pelted with rotten fruit, veg and eggs.

They they might start doing their jobs.

They could start by showing the public some respect by communicating with them and explaining their none action.

I'm off for my radio interview!

Poor Cumbria County Council
Awarding contracts is hard work
It involves Dinners, Drinks, Jolly's, Xmas Gifts.
They have no time left to check the job be resonable Geoff

Looking at the state of the setts before you fixed them, you would think they'd be too embarassed to imply that if someone injured themselves you'd be liable. Yeah, they looked perfectly safe beforehand, didn't they!

If they want to take this tack to stop people making their own streets safer, maybe we should all accidentally-on-purpose take a tumble on all the other defects they've failed to make safe in a reasonable timescale. Lots of expensive lawsuits would make them get their act together in double-quick time & the money could be spent on community projects.

Some creative thinking going on here.

The accidentally on purpose approach.

Is someone volunteering to push my invalid chair around if in fact I'm over successful?
