Market Square - Three things of concern

Do they bother you?

First the A frame advertising in amongst the attractive tubs of flowers.

Murray's claim that they need the advertising.

Well I won't be going in if I can avoid it.

Second , the full waste bin. Where is the next lot going?

Lastly the thoughtlessly parked bike.

Next day:

The bin has been emptied but a fresh bag has been deposited next to it full of newspapers and beer cans. This kind of thing is becoming more common. I emptied the contents into the bin - why is it coming here in the first place?

"Everyone else is doing it" -  Is this sign also unacceptable?

They are springing up all over our pavements.

For me the case is different as a useful car park is being indicated. The pavement not overused.

Do we need some rules?

What's wrong with the lamp post?

Why is it always someone else's fault?

You choose to ride a bike: why can't you find your own solution that doesn't inconvenience others?

You would love it in Amsterdam, bikes everywhere. People just live with it and use common sense and do no go around walking into them.

I walked past the chemists yesterday and heard a lot of noise, whooping and cheering. On further investigation, the staff told me they were celebrating because they'd read that you wouldn't be calling in! Finally GD - you've made someone happy. RESULT!!

Sharing a bench with a bike isn't much fun.

Now sharing a bed . . . .

could have some interesting dreams . . .

as to some one parking their bike "thoughtlessly" how about a table erected on the same bit of pavement obstructing the post box?
Just a thought!

Proof?

Not true; as the post collector will vouch.
