I had similar but different child hood experiences, listening to your recollections I begin to understand your personality. Please continue.

Thanks Alan, I suspect it helpsto be able to see and hear me talk. We really need a rich communicating environment to be able to understand each other.

As a species, we humans have only had a few years to adjust to this very new way of relating to strangers. This electronic writing - blog, email, Facebook and Twitter - all provide a mine field in which to get blown apart through misunderstandings.

Maybe we should have story telling sessions in the library?

Meanwhile , with your encouragement, I shall continue to develop this web cam idea with further stories. Then perhaps you'll have a go as I'm sure your recollections would be equally fascinating.

Thanks Charles, you have a lovely way of expressing yourself.

Have you ever thought of becoming an author? I'm sure you'd become very popular, particularly in France.

"genius is childhood recovered at will"

Very wise - but what does it really mean!

In deeds it looks like the previous link was only valid when it was live - here's the recording on Youtube

The concept is good, although the subject matter may not be as interesting - if anyone gets bored then fast forward 45mins or so to see more of the group getting involved

Another series of clips I'm watching on youtube is by teknoteacher, a teacher from Preston who has a passion for get kids interested in technology under the covers, Youtube - I recommend anyone with kids or knows any kids to get them to watch his videos

Thanks Dave the guy in Preston sounds really interesting.

I'll follow your link up.

Really helpful!
